TRG 149th session gave an exhilarating experience to its attendees. Naeem Zamindar who is founder and CEO of Zamindar Capital was the speaker and man behind this exhilaration. He rocked the audience with his yogic knowledge and experiences combined with a variety of exercises.
Naeem explained ‘Yoga’ as a Sanskrit word meaning ‘Union’ wherein individuals direct their mind by balancing all energies, in order to realize oneness with Supreme Creator. Furthermore, he explained that true essence of Yoga revolves around ‘self realization’ of an individual which is achievable through series of physical and mental exercises.
Yoga is sacred, and one must do it passionately with joy and happiness. The main purpose of all yoga exercises is to balance an individual’s life by centralizing the energies that a human body possesses.
Naeem spoke about three states of being; physical, mental and spiritual and stressed how yoga helps promote a balanced development of all three. At the physical level the methods comprise various body postures that keep body healthy, while mental level includes various breathing exercises and meditation in order to discipline the mind.
Yogic exercises bring radiations in the body and helps achieve the following.
Attainment of perfect equilibrium and harmony
Increases self-awareness
Removes negative blocks from the mind and toxins from the body
Helps in attention focus and concentration
Reduces stress and tension in the physical body
Naeem discussed ‘prana’ or energy levels in a being. With a higher prana level, the world feels happier, peaceful and we feel more connected with our self. Conversely, a lower prana sets in dejection, doubt and negativity in all aspects of life.
Participants felt rejuvenated and energized at the end of the session and thanked Naeem for bringing in his expertise.
